About me

Hi my name is Chrissi, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

I am a fully accredited CBT therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I am also a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

I started my independent private practice in April 2021 as a CBT therapist prior to this is worked as a Psychological Therapist in the NHS.

CBT is recommended by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) for the treatment of a wide range of mental health problems including Depression, and many anxiety problems, including OCD, phobias.

I believe the most important relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself. Learning to understand your mind and change unhelpful patterns of thinking is one of the best things you can do to improve your mental health and wellbeing. With the right knowledge and tools, you can experience a happier life with less stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

As an experienced Therapist, I can help you develop the coping strategies you need to reduce psychological distress and difficulty. I can also show you how to cultivate more emotional resilience, so no matter what life throws at you, you’ll be able to bounce back.

Our minds are our most important asset. We need to value and care for them like any other part of the body.

I work with people who are experiencing psychological distress for a variety of reasons, people who want to understand where they are, why and how to move forward.

Common problems I can help people with are depression and anxiety, panic disorder, overthinking & worry and bsessive-compulsive disorder.
If you are motivated and determined to develop an understanding of the patterns you are in, then I can help you build the coping strategies you will need to reduce your distress and psychological difficulty so that you can move forward with your life, make changes for life and maximise your potential.
