About me
Welcome to my profile and whatever has brought you here today, I hope I can help.
As a Humanistic counsellor I believe that you are the expert on yourself and have the ability to grow, heal and reach your full potential. I work along side you to build a therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable and safe to explore your own thoughts, feelings or behaviours. Within a warm, non-judgemental, empathic and confidential space, you will hopefully feel able to talk freely about things you may not feel able to discuss with anyone else.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Diploma in Humanistic Counselling. Course accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
- Assist training (suicide prevention training)
- Trauma training
- BACP online training
- Domestic Abuse Counselling training
- Experience working within a charity with client or relatives of clients with cancer.
My experience is broad, working with adults from 18 - 83 years with a range of emotional difficulties including:

- Bereavement/loss
- Relationship problems and divorce
- Family issues
- Depression
- Low self esteem
- Trauma
- Work related issues
- Diagnoses of serious illness

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Our session:
Our sessions together can be either be in person, video call online or via the telephone, meaning I can work with you in any location within the United Kingdom. If we meet in person, it will be at Vinings Natural Health Centre, Clover Court, Church Rd, Haywards Heath RH16 3UF.
If you aren't confident in using technology but would like to work with me online, I can offer you instructions on how to download and join our online sessions. If we work together on the telephone I will call you.
As well as long term therapy, I offer brief (6-12 sessions) to adults.
