About me

Are you tired of feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, confused, sad, traumatised, helpless, worthless, guilty, ashamed, overwhelmed, or having low self-esteem? Are you suffering from a bereavement, or going through family issues and feel lost and that you can't move forward? Sometimes, something just isn't right. I am here to help.

By working together I can help you to explore, make sense of and address what needs to change for you. I am a warm, empathetic, sensitive and non-judgmental practitioner. I offer a welcoming, safe and reflective space where you can feel at ease to explore all aspects of your life. A place where you can be heard and understood without judgement. An opportunity to pause, take a breath and try to make sense of how it is you got here. A chance to explore possibilities for the future, grow your inner resources and make sustainable and tangible positive change.

I am a registered and qualified counsellor who works with young people (age 18+) and adult clients and specialise in anxiety, depression, trauma and grief counselling. I offer short and long term psychotherapeutic counselling with Transactional Analysis (TA) as my main style of working. Having worked initially in a hospice setting, I now work in private practice. I am interested in people, our uniqueness and differences. I am passionate about my work and through regular CPD I keep up to date and add new ways of working with my clients to get the best outcomes.

I have a cabin style therapy room in my garden in Hove and I offer week day time and some evening sessions, and both online and face to face.

If you are keen to get started and would like to know more about how I work, get in touch for your free 20-minute telephone consultation. We will have a chat during which it’s a chance for you to tell me a bit of your story and I can answer any questions you may have. You can then decide if my approach is right for you; if so we can then organise an initial Intake Session. To get in touch you can send me an email or text outlining briefly why you are wanting therapy now.
