About me

Are you tired of feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, confused, sad, traumatised, unconfident, helpless, worthless, guilty, ashamed or overwhelmed? I am here to help. You deserve to thrive, not just survive, and I believe therapy can help with this.

Taking a step towards positive change may be easier than you think...

All of us, without exception, encounter difficult times and situations at some point of our lives. Society, our upbringing and our own expectations often tell us that we should be able to “pull ourselves together” and “get a grip”, which is why so many of us are so reluctant to seek support when we need it most. Talking to someone who is trained to help is not a sign of weakness or failure, but recognition of the fact that you want and deserve to feel better! Many people may also seek therapy simply to learn more about themselves and to develop or maximise their potential.

By working together I can help you to explore and address what needs to change for you. I am a warm, empathetic, sensitive and non-judgmental practitioner. I offer a welcoming, safe and reflective space where you can feel at ease to explore all aspects of your life. A place where you can be heard and understood without judgement. An opportunity to pause, take a breath and try to make sense of how it is you got here. A chance to explore possibilities for the future, grow your inner resources and make sustainable and tangible positive change.

I am a registered and qualified counsellor who works with adult clients. I offer short and long term counselling with Transactional Analysis (TA) as my style of working. Having worked for a few years in a hospice setting I am now working in private practice. I am interested in people, our uniqueness and differences. I am passionate about my work and through regular CPD I keep up to date and add new ways of working with my clients to get the best outcomes.

I have a therapy room in Hove but am only working online at the moment until further notice due to the coronavirus. I offer day time and some evening sessions.

If you are keen to get started and would like to know more about how I work, get in touch for your free 20-minute telephone consultation. We will have a chat during which it’s a chance for you to tell me a bit of your story and I can answer any questions you may have. You can then decide if my approach is right for you. Alternatively If you’d like to go ahead and book an initial online 50-minute consultation get in touch, you can call me, send me an email or text.
