About me
As a therapist, I see myself as a supportive guide who walks alongside clients on their journey through life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each individual’s experience. Clients often describe me as calm, attentive, and open-minded, and I strive to create a space where they feel safe to express their most authentic selves.
I specialise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and person-centered approaches, especially with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and self-compassion struggles. I am passionate about helping clients break free from cycles of self-blame, cultivate resilience, and reconnect with their values and sense of purpose. My aim is to not only provide tools for managing difficulties but also to empower clients to lead lives aligned with what truly matters to them.
What keeps me passionate about this work is witnessing the small, often subtle transformations that happen in the therapy room, a moment of insight, a shift in perspective, or the first steps towards self-compassion. These moments remind me of the strength we all carry, even when it feels buried. I work with clients to foster these shifts in ways that feel natural and sustainable, supporting them in bringing these insights into their everyday lives.
In building the therapeutic relationship, I focus on fostering a genuine connection based on empathy, collaboration, and trust. I believe each client holds valuable insights into their experiences, and I’m here to help uncover and honour those insights. Whether in times of vulnerability or growth, I aim to create a therapeutic experience that feels like a journey of mutual respect and shared discovery.
In our therapy sessions, we work together to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing what’s on your mind and heart. You might bring challenges, worries, or questions about who you are and where you're going, and we’ll explore these in a way that feels natural and unhurried. We’ll take time to understand your experiences fully and gently uncover patterns that might be holding you back. Through our conversations, we work to clarify what’s really important to you, not only in terms of long-term goals or directions but also in your day-to-day life.
As we dive into these areas, we might also experiment with different strategies to help you manage difficult emotions, manage self-doubt, and uncomfortable emotions, or bring a sense of balance to your life. Each session is a bit different, shaped by what you’re feeling and what you want to focus on. I’m here to support you in your journey, helping you find new ways to approach situations, connect with your strengths, and create a sense of forward movement, no matter how small each step may be.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
