About me

Hello, I'm Anna, a registered counsellor and member of the BACP. My goal is to help my clients develop their own inner therapist, gaining self-understanding to achieve emotional balance and improved communication skills.

In sessions, I encourage my clients to explore their inner world within a safe and accepting space. If you're looking for a compassionate therapist to guide you  towards personal growth, I'm here to help and it would be my privilege to work with you.

I specialise in safely unpacking trauma, building up self-awareness and enhancing communication skills. I have numerous tools to help with trauma, relationship issues, childhood trauma, loss, regulating emotions, anxiety, depression, family issues, generational trauma, social anxiety, self-harm, low self-esteem, mental abuse, perinatal trauma, postnatal depression, baby loss and dealing with a history of sexual assault.

I offer online sessions via Zoom nationwide and face-to-face sessions in a private and peaceful room in Chard with free parking.

Remember, you don't have to face your challenges alone. I encourage you to reach out and schedule a session. Let's embark on this journey towards greater self-understanding and self-love together.

Warmly, Anna

Training, qualifications & experience

I am registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and have completed an accredited course to become an Integrative Counsellor.

My framework is a blend of humanistic and psychodynamic counselling using creative interventions.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
