About me

Hello I'm Angela and I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor in Essex. I  offer a safe and confidential environment either face to face or online to work alongside you on your journey. I understand that taking the step into counselling can be daunting and I am sensitive to how nervous you might feel.

Do you fell anxious ? do you feel good enough ? Are you struggling with self-belief?   have you got an addiction?  We will work on your journey together and at a pace that works for you. Counselling really can be the chance to work through issues, challenges and difficulties we face in our lives. These Issues could be the barriers you re facing in every day life. Are you struggling with self belief? do you feel good enough? Do you feel there are lifestyle changes you could be making ? Then lets work together in various ways that would enable you to make positive changes.

Building a positive  relationship with trust can allow us to feel empowered to make positive changes. Being an integrative counsellor means I can work in a variety of ways to suit you.

I have a strong belief and passion for counselling and enjoy supporting individuals in making those steps towards change. Counselling really can empower you by talking and challenging yourself to make changes.

The sessions would give the time to talk in a safe and confidential environment. I can offer face to face with access to public transport and off street parking, telephone. I offer  online sessions via the Zoom platform and offers client a flexible approach if their commitments change and also to those clients who live a further distance.

If you feel ready to find out more then  either by phone or email we could  set up a free 30 minute consultation to discuss how this would work and for you to feel comfortable  to ask any questions.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
