About me

I am a Humanistic Integrative Therapist and offer counselling to adults primarily in a face-to-face setting, or by telephone or video call if preferred.

I provide a warm, safe and confidential space and work in a person-centred way, with the client always leading the way on what is most important to talk about or explore. I will then tailor my approach with you to be compatible with what your needs and aims are in therapy - in a way that makes you comfortable - and where you feel confident to share whatever you are going through.

I place great importance on our relationship and will work in a non-judgemental way to help you reveal more about yourself and to assist in unblocking difficult feelings and personal realisations which can become very freeing and improve life on the outside.

I understand how starting therapy can naturally feel daunting, which is why I will follow your lead and take care to work at a pace that suits you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am fully trained to Advanced Diploma level in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, and trained for over 6 years. All courses I participated in were accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have five years of experience in clinical practice, and have worked in both a face to face setting and remotely (by video or telephone) with clients.

All my work and experience has been one-to-one with adults, to date. I have marked experience in working with depression, anger, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self esteem, narcissistic relationships and parental difficulties .

I continue to develop myself by attending other training, in order to stay current and to always be strengthening the tools and skills I can offer.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
