About me

As an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, I am here to offer you a warm and supportive space. This space is designed for you to safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and any challenging life experiences with comprehensive support and understanding. I understand the anxiety that may arise from seeking therapy and choosing a therapist. Please rest assured, I am here to help and answer any questions you may have, making this journey as comfortable as possible for you.

What to Expect

You will find my practice in North Acton, W3, where I welcome you for face-to-face sessions. If you can't make it in person or find it more convenient, I also offer phone and video counselling. My goal is to provide you with support that is tailored to you, encouraging you to be true to yourself as you begin this healing journey. I believe that with the right support, everyone can channel the strength within to overcome life's obstacles.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, respecting your pace, and empathetic to your unique perspective. You can trust that your personal growth will always be nurtured within a judgment-free environment.

Begin with a Conversation

Our initial conversation will be a complimentary 20-minute phone or video call consultation. This will enable us to discuss what brings you to counselling and give you the opportunity to ask any questions about the therapy process. Following our first session, you will have the chance to determine if I am the right fit for your journey.

Growth and Ethics in Therapy

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I use different therapeutic modalities to adapt to your needs, we can work together to explore the difficulties you're currently experiencing. I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), where I adhere to their ethical guidelines to ensure your confidentiality and well-being.

My ultimate goal is to provide you with a safe and reflective space where you can safely explore your challenges and discover effective tools to navigate the issues you're facing. I am convinced that everyone has the potential to experience joy and fulfilment and I am wholeheartedly committed to assisting you in finding your unique path to these outcomes.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy from Regents University, complemented by a master's degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the same institution.

Previously, I worked at a bereavement centre, providing support to individuals experiencing grief and loss.  Currently, I am engaged in a placement at a low-cost mental health centre in Central London, where I assist individuals with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, ADHD, PTSD and more.

In addition to my placement, I also maintain a private practice where I support clients dealing with stress management, self-esteem issues, personal growth, addiction, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). My private practice allows me to work with individuals on a deeper level, helping them navigate life transitions, build resilience, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
