About me

Hi, I'm Warren. I undertake face to face work in Bedford and London, but much of my work is online meaning I can help clients all over the country.

I help people experiencing anxiety or depression or those that want to make changes to their lives (at home or at work). People I work with will often be struggling with low esteem that affects their ability to live the life they want to live and make the decisions that they want to make. I help people with debilitating phobias or those who have suffered trauma and I support them to reach the goals they set to achieve the freedom they want.

I use Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and, where appropriate, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) as the foundation for my work. CBT and REBT are based on the philosophy that it's not events that disturb people but the view they take of those events. I take clients through a process that helps them to understand their emotions, the demands they are placing upon themselves and the beliefs that flow from those demands. I then to help them change how they feel by changing how they think and behave. Because CBT/REBT is a process, it does not go on indefinitely meaning that it can be a more cost effective way of getting the help you need.

I have particular experience of working with the emergency services and the military (both currently serving and veterans).

I know from personal experience how daunting it can be trying to find the right therapist. I aim to put my clients at ease from the very first contact so please don't be shy about getting in touch! We can have a free, no obligation chat about how I can help you.

  • Diploma in CBT/REBT (Distinction)
