About me
Hello, I'm Victoria. I offer counselling sessions via secure video or telephone, based on what feels most comfortable for you. My aim is to create a warm, compassionate, and professional space where you feel genuinely heard and supported.
Life can be overwhelming at times. You may be facing painful experiences, feeling stuck or uncertain, or simply carrying a sense that something isn’t quite right. Perhaps you're struggling with a past experience, navigating a life transition, living with inner conflict, or trying to rediscover your sense of self.
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone. Counselling offers an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgemental space. Together, we can make sense of what’s going on for you and explore a way forward at your pace and in a way that works best for you.
You might be looking for a space to talk freely and gain clarity, or you may prefer a more structured, solution-focused approach. We can shape your therapy around your needs, whether that means exploring helpful techniques, working towards specific goals, or simply being heard. I have trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches—including person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and trauma-informed models—this means that I can adapt how we work together to fit what feels most helpful for you. And if you’re unsure what you want from therapy right now—that’s okay. We can figure it out together.
I bring over 20 years of experience from roles across the social care and mental health sectors, supporting people from all walks of life. I’m deeply committed to ongoing learning to keep my practice informed.
I have a special interest in working with trauma, bereavement, and neurodivergence, including lived and professional experience of the challenges that can come with a later-in-life diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD.
I know how daunting it can be to reach out for support. If you're curious about counselling or want to talk things through before making a decision, please feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to hear from you, without any obligation.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
