Are you struggling with something difficult in your life and feel you would benefit from some support? I know first-hand how overwhelming it can be when looking for help.
I appreciate it’s difficult to take the first step and this is why I offer a free consultation as part of my services, to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
Therapy can bring a sense of clarity around your difficulties. The process can be challenging, but, worthwhile and at times even enjoyable.
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist, which means your sessions can be tailored to meet your needs.
In my years of practice, I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds with different issues such as anxiety/depression, relationship issues, trauma and disordered eating.
Individuals enter into counselling for all manner of reasons. Sometimes, childhood/adulthood life experiences can impact the way we live our lives and can impact our thoughts, feeling and behaviour. It can also influence relationships with others and our wellbeing.
My philosophy is that when you gain understanding it brings knowledge and with knowledge comes the power to make changes. I believe that you can make the changes if you have the right conditions in which to do so.
I would like to provide the right conditions for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
