Tracy Cannon-Harrold - Apple Tree Therapy
In these challenging times are you finding it hard to tackle day to day tasks at the moment and feel you are having more bad days then good? Maybe you are feeling low in mood or battling with anxiety? If so, why not give me a call?
I understand that the first step in reaching out to a counsellor may be daunting. From a personal perspective, I sought therapy myself when I was experiencing difficulties and the process helped me identify the root causes and also help me make positive changes to my life. Childhood and adulthood life experiences can impact thoughts, feeling and behaviour and can therefore at times influence how individuals deal with situations; it can also impact on a person’s well-being and the kind of relationships they have with others.
I work using an integrative approach (which means that I draw on different forms of therapy depending on what is most beneficial to your situation). I can help you explore issues you are experiencing to gain clarity and self-awareness around your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and to challenge any negative core beliefs you may hold about yourself.
My philosophy is that when you gain understanding it brings knowledge and with knowledge comes the power to make changes. I believe that you make the changes if you have the right conditions in which to do so. I also believe that you are the expert on yourself and therefore I am led by you in the sessions and will therefore take each session at your pace.
I offer a free 20 minute consultation so you can ask me any questions or concerns you may have about counselling. It also gives you the opportunity to consider if I am the right counsellor for you and your needs with no obligation to move forward if you do not wish to do so. This is your journey and I feel it is important for you to be able to make an informed choice.
I am currently providing online counselling via telephone and Zoom.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
