About me
Hello. I’m Toby, an integrative therapist helping clients in their journey. My sessions are designed to provide a welcoming space for you - my client - to feel able to open up at a pace you are comfortable with, and an environment you feel safe within. My counselling is delivered totally without judgment, and each one of my clients is valued as an individual and treated with absolute respect, dignity and care. I will offer you gentle, yet effective guidance and support throughout, and encourage you to gain inner clarity and understanding of the issues affecting you now; whether they stem from the past, present or in the future. We will work together to introduce into your life the right practices and processes to target the feelings, fears and worries that reside within.
My background is in education; I have delivered mindfulness coaching and meditation to young people, and regularly incorporate techniques harnessed in those areas into my counselling sessions. I am a firm believer in the ongoing pursuit of discovering positive and mentally healing practices that can benefit us all as human beings. Throughout our time together we will talk openly and confidentially about those things that have led to you seeking counselling, and we will work at a pace that fits naturally around you. Our sessions will be entirely confidential, mutually respectful and entirely with you in mind.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your counselling journey. As a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, I adhere to the highest ethical standards and best practices.
