About us

Often, life is full of ordinary trickiness that can be difficult to manage. It can be helpful to have a warm, compassionate and external mind alongside you to think about you, your needs, your current situation and what next steps for change might be possible.

I am trained in various therapeutic modalities including CBT, Compassion focused Therapy (CFT), EMDR, Circle of Security, and psychodynamic/attachment focused approaches. I work predominantly from an integrative position, being flexible to your needs and working first to understand you and your mind to best match our intervention to the way you work.

In addition, we offer a 4 session Prep4Parenthood workshop for those parents who are wanting to think about themselves and their baby in advance of birth: think NCT but make it psychology!

If you’re struggling with a transition or life change, feeling dissatisfied or unhappy, feeling stressed or anxious, or needing space to think about yourself or your relationships, please consider reaching out. We can start with a brief chat to see if I can be helpful, and a good fit, and we can think together about how best to support you going forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Counselling Psychologist who has worked across various mental health and emotional well-being settings for over 10 years.

I work with adults, couples and parent-infant pairs where indicated.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
