About me

Have you been considering having therapy for a while? Sometimes we’re not used to putting ourselves first, we’re scared about the potential to change or what might come up. Sometimes it’s easier to put up with things. It’s normal to have these worries and it’s also normal to feel daunted at the thought of embarking on a therapy journey. You might have some experience of therapy already, it might have been helpful or maybe it might not. You might not have any experience of therapy and this is a totally new experience.

Each therapist is different, that is why I strive to understand you, the person coming to therapy. What has brought you here. Have you experienced a significant life event? Such as the death of a loved one, loss of a job, getting married, divorced, menopause. Do you want some time to unpack things that are going in family and relationships? Or have you been noticing you’ve not been feeling yourself lately or for a little while, the things you used to do to fix the feeling are no longer working as well. You find yourself getting frustrated or anxious with how you’re feeling and you don’t want to feel like you do anymore.

Life in all forms has its ups and downs, it can be stressful, sad, make us angry or frustrated. It can also bring us joy. Through the therapeutic relationship, you will really be heard and seen for your experiences, you will be listened to empathically in a non-judgemental environment. I practice from a comfortable and confidential therapy space in Sevenoaks.
