Life can throw upsetting or unexpected things your way, when it does, I will listen; with compassion, without judgement. Together we can find a way forward for you. People choose Counselling for many reasons, perhaps you are experiencing; caring for someone, memories of a difficult childhood, broken relationship, trouble forming relationships, loneliness, bereavement, PTSD, OCD, or cant face the day and don't know why. I welcome you; I see you, I hear you, no matter what.
Your workplace can be a difficult and challenging environment. I understand deeply the issues that arise in the workplace; bullying, sexual harassment, redundancy, relocation, challenging staff, challenging managers, and more… I welcome you as an employee or Manager and I welcome Employee Assistance Providers (EAP).
Long-term or sudden irreversible ill-health can trigger emotional responses. I have extensive knowledge of disease patterns and symptoms, which complements my compassionate Counselling; helping you - or your loved ones - come to terms with, or cope with, your diagnosis.

Experience
I have been Counselling since 2010 within a Local Government setting, a National Charity and in Private Practice. In my private practice I work only with consenting Adults. I offer Counselling, CBT, EFT, Breath-work and other relaxing and soothing techniques based on the Polyvagal Theory (Stephen Porges) to help clients heal the symptoms of Anxiety and Depression, which are so often associated with difficulties in life; either current or past. I provide Counselling for the MS Society in Dumfries & Galloway and I work with Employee Assistance Providers throughout the UK.
I see you, I hear you , no matter what. I am authentic, and work from a place of deep compassion. Together we will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, capture your insights from increased self-awareness and find your path to emotional freedom, increased self-esteem and positive change.
