About me
Hi, I’m Steph I'm a therapist accredited by the BACP,with over a decade of experience and a genuine passion for supporting your mental health and well-being. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s easy to get stuck or unsure of where to turn. But you don’t have to face it alone.
I’ve had the privilege of working with both Adults and young people supporting them to navigate anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I also work part-time in schools, supporting students as they cope with their own pressures and challenges.
I know from my own personal experiences just how life-changing and rewarding therapy can be. It’s been transformative for me, both personally and professionally. I've experienced firsthand how therapy can help bring about meaningful change, support growth and build resilience.
I offer a warm, safe, and welcoming space where you’ll be truly heard, understood, and empowered.
How will we work together?
I believe that the foundation of real progress in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. It’s important to me that you feel completely comfortable, seen, and heard. My approach is intergrated with a person centred background, which means I focus on your unique needs, feelings, and goals, using other models of therapy where needed, ensuring each session is tailored to you.
I work both in-person and online, offering you the flexibility to choose what works best for you. Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, but I understand that life can get busy or financial constraints can make that difficult. If needed, we can work together on a bi-weekly basis to suit your schedule.
Whether your struggles are rooted in the present or stem from past experiences, my aim is to help you feel unstuck and move towards a life that feels more authentic and aligned with who you are and what you want. Regularly reviewing to ensure we are on the right path for you.
Special Areas of interest:
I’m especially passionate about helping those who feel held back by anxiety, whether it’s general anxiety, relationship anxiety, or anxiety linked to intrusive thoughts. I have a strong interest in working with trauma. I believe trauma doesn’t always have to be something extreme. It can show up in many forms, like the end of a relationship, difficult childhood experiences, or challenging life events that leave a lasting impact. Whatever your experience, I’m here to offer a safe space where we can explore those feelings and work toward healing at your own pace.
Additionally, I help people manage ADHD, whether that's to help understand a recent/late diagnosis, guidance to begin looking at a diagnosis process or managing every day life. Together, we’ll work on building your confidence, emotional strength, and a clearer sense of self, so you can create a life that feels more fulfilling.
The First Step:
Taking the first step toward therapy can be intimidating, and I completely understand that. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss what you’re hoping to achieve and whether I’m the right fit for you.
Please check your junk folder for my reply to intro call requests and enquiries.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
