About me

Unsure what to do next? Feeling anxious, stuck or depressed and in need of help? Having relationship difficulties or facing critical changes in your life that you need to make sense of? Take a breath......get in touch, and feel supported as we work together to find the answers you need to move forward.

Hi, I offer counselling in a confidential, accepting, non-judgmental, safe and friendly environment. I work according to the Ethical Framework of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as a qualified counsellor and relational dynamics coach. I work 1:1 with adults, children and young people facing a wide range of difficulties. I also work with schools (both children and staff) and organisations in employee assisted counselling services.

As a therapist, coach and creative arts graduate I bring over 20 years of experience from a diverse range of therapeutic and learning environments which include hospitals, schools and private practice . I work responsively to meet your need by: offering straight forward talking therapy; working creatively at a safe metaphoric distance when feelings and experiences are just to difficult to face head on; integrating coaching techniques when you have a clear goal but need some help to map the journey you need to take in life or work. I offer you a gentle and focused space to talk freely, without judgement; a listening ear so you can feel truely heard; support to find your own solutions, building your capacity and resilience with greater insight, life balance, positive outcomes and general wellbeing.

At the heart of my practice lies a passionate belief in our capacity for growth and our potential to use those painful and critical moments as a catalyst to find more enriching and satisfying lives. I would feel honoured to be able to work alongside you on your personal journey to do just that.

I work with a wide range of issues including:

  • Anxiety or Depression
  • Relationship Issues
  • Loss & Bereavement
  • Redundancy
  • Work Related Stress
  • Coping with Change
  • Women and Change (for those specific moments in life such as becoming a parent, returning to work, empty nest, career challenges & the menopause)

I’m here to help so take that breath, that next step towards a new beginning and get in touch by emailing me today.
