About me
Do you have feelings of anxiety, sadness, stress or depression? If you are feeling stuck, confused, grappling with relationship issues and going round in circles, let's talk! If you want and need something to change, then counselling can work for you.
I bring a passionate belief in our human capacity for growth and our potential to use those painful and critical moments as a catalyst to find more enriching and satisfying lives. I would feel honoured to be able to work alongside you on your personal journey. To do that, I will provide you with a warm, focused space to feel valued, heard and free to explore your worries and challenges without judgement. Together, we will find the right questions, answers and steps that enable you to move forward, to make the changes you need.
I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor & Relational Dynamics Coach working with a wide range of adults & young people. I work in private practice and most recently with the national charity 'Action for Children', providing counselling to families who have experienced domestic abuse.
I can offer straight forward talking therapy; work creatively when words are not enough; or integrate coaching techniques when you have identified your goal and need some help to move that forward. I will provide a focused space to talk freely, without judgement, offering empathy, acceptance and a listening ear so you can feel truly heard and understood. With the right conditions in place you can then find your own solutions, insights, life balance and develop your personal self-help toolkit for a better life.
To ensure my practice is ethical and of high quality I am BACP registered and work according to the Ethical Framework of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I also maintain my professional development, striving to make my practice relevant and meaningful.
I work with a wide range of issues including:
- Anxiety or Depression
- Relationship Issues
- Domestic Abuse
- Loss & Bereavement
- Redundancy
- Work Related Stress
- Coping with Change
- Women and Change (for those specific moments in life such as becoming a parent, returning to work, empty nest, career challenges & the menopause)
I’m here to help, so take that next step towards a new beginning and get in touch by emailing me today.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
