About me
Hello, I'm Sammy, are you browsing this website because you don't feel quite right? Do you feel overwhelmed by emotions; frustration, anger, loneliness, anxiety, sadness, feel ‘stuck’, or perhaps you don’t know what is wrong but that something needs to change? In times such as these counselling can help. Counselling is, I believe, essentially a conversation between two people where you feel truly listened to, understood, and without the worry of interruption, judgment, or criticism. A conversation that, at times, can be difficult but can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and your situation.
I have years of experience working with a range of ages presenting with a variety of issues including but not limited to bereavement, loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, retirement, identity (including neurodiversity), anger, and self-esteem.
I am down to earth and aim to make you feel safe and heard while we work together to process and address your issues. We will work at your pace, and I will change and adapt my approach as appropriate. There is no ‘one size fits all’ to my practice because we are all unique and require different things to flourish.
