About me

I am a BACP registered Integrative Relational Counsellor. This means that I can draw on a range of therapeutic approaches that I adapt to suit your individual needs.  I also believe that the quality of the relationship between you and your counsellor is crucial in supporting you when you're in difficulty or distressed.

Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I provide a non-judgemental, warm and calm space for you to explore your experiences and feelings, so that together we can work through what is troubling you.  This will help you to learn more about yourself and find new ways of moving forward, so that you can cope better with the challenges you're experiencing in your life.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, work stress, relationship problems, low self-esteem, depression, bereavement, sexual abuse, trauma and PTSD.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO).  I abide by both their frameworks for ethical practice and have regular supervision to support my work.

- Face to face sessions are now available -

I work face to face at my practice in South Kensington and The Awareness Centre in Tooting.  I also offer sessions online and by telephone.  I initially offer a free 20-minute telephone call where we can discuss what is bringing you to therapy and how best we may work together.

Clients have the choice to see me in person, online or both .  This may suit people  that travel regularly or too far away from my London practice.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
