About me
We each arrive in a body, brain, and life we never chose, shaped by complex biological, familial, and cultural systems. There is no wonder you might struggle to sustain balance, rest, and meaning. Therapy can’t change the world around you, although it can strengthen your capacity to meet it - building resources you can return to when life knocks you over.
People I Work With
I specialise in working with adults stuck in patterns of anxiety, stress, self-criticism, burnout, relationship difficulties, low mood, or loss of direction.
In practice, this often shows up as work consistently hijacking life and rest feeling impossible; a harsh inner voice that's difficult to quieten; cycles of overthinking and rumination; withdrawing from relationships or social life; using food, substances, or rituals to regulate or escape; or a creeping sense that life has lost its colour or purpose.
In my experience, these are frequently coping mechanisms - ways of managing, regulating, or avoiding deeper unprocessed pain: grief, loss, trauma, abuse, bullying, and fears of loneliness, abandonment, or failure. These patterns often develop for good reason. At some point they helped - they kept things manageable, protected something raw, or just got you through.
The difficulty is that over time, the coping can become its own problem, narrowing life rather than sustaining it. Much of the work we do together involves understanding where these patterns came from, and gradually building something more workable in their place.
Areas I specialise in
Existential anxiety and loss of meaning: Feeling behind and like a failure, paralysed by choices, or unsettled by the state of the world. We'll work on facing these fears honestly, reconnecting with what matters to you, and finding steadiness amid uncertainty.
Perfectionism and inner criticism: Constantly striving, yet never quite satisfied. We'll explore where this pattern began, ease the pressure you put on yourself, and build a more sustainable relationship with achievement.
Dating and relationships: Wanting closeness but doubting it once you have it. We'll untangle the fears beneath the cycle and help you build relationships that feel secure and genuinely fulfilling.
People-pleasing and selflessness: Giving freely to others while your own needs go unmet. We'll work on boundaries that protect you without pushing people away - and help you ask for what you need with confidence.
Also experienced in: Anxiety & panic, depression, burnout, OCD, health anxiety, low self-worth, grief & loss, life transitions, insomnia, trauma & PTSD, body image, procrastination, ADHD & autism.

Experience
I have worked as a CBT Therapist in London across private practice, NHS GP Surgery, and charitable services, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My experience also includes providing CBT therapy in an IAPT-backed veterans’ service and offering emotional support as a volunteer listener on a suicide helpline. These roles have given me a broad and grounded understanding of distress and the human capacity for change.
I’m also a qualified yoga teacher (Sangye Yoga School, London) and often weave simple mindfulness, breathwork, or movement techniques into sessions when words alone don’t reach what’s needed.
