Rebecca Stambridge. Integrative Counsellor & Wellbeing Specialist. MBACP
Sometimes in life we find ourselves lost or struggling to cope and it can help to reach out to a trained professional to navigate and overcome these times.
As an integrative counsellor I offer a very warm, supportive and non judgemental space so that you feel heard, understood and can increase your own awareness about whatever you're struggling with.
However, I am also trained in the latest evidence based techniques such as CBT; mindfulness and compassionate focussed therapy so can empower you with lifelong tools to manage your own mental health. These are particularly useful for anxiety, depression, stress, self worth, anger, addiction/alcohol reduction.
I have worked in mental health for over 15 years in different roles because I strongly believe that anyone can improve their mental health and wellbeing with the right support.
For 6 years I delivered and managed wellbeing services for Mind including leading on workshops for anxiety, stress, anger and low confidence. I have also developed mindfulness resources for their national website and am an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist.
I offer a range of services for different needs and budgets and see clients face to face in Glossop or Manchester. I also offer zoom, telephone or email wherever you are in the country.
If you would like to find out more about me go to my website www.contentedmind.uk. I also offer a FREE 30 min assessment session so that you can see how it feels to work together.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
