About me
Hello, and welcome to my profile page. I am an experienced helping professional with over 20 years of experience. My passion is to help individuals understand and overcome their difficulties so they can lead the life they desire.
My approach is to walk alongside you, offering you a safe space to express yourself. I will accept you for who you are in a non-judgmental, collaborative, and compassionate manner. Together, we can walk towards your goals and help you achieve the changes you want in your life.
I provide counselling and psychotherapy services in English and Gujarati to adults and older adults who need support with issues such as anxiety, grief, depression, suicidal ideation, bereavement, and life-limiting conditions, such as Cancer and disability.
As a humanistic integrative therapist, I creatively combine various theories and concepts to meet your unique needs and help you better cope with change.
If you are considering seeking Counselling or Psychotherapy, I offer a free 15-minute telephone chat so we can discuss your goals, and together, we can determine if we are the right fit for each other.
How I deliver therapy
Long and short-term face-to-face, online, telephone or time-limited. I also work from home and at a practice based in Leicester City Centre. Limited paid street parking is available, and public car parks are within easy walking distance.
Sessions are held once a week and can take place in-person or remotely using the following platforms: Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, VSee, and telephone.
I have flexible availability which includes afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. If you have any questions or would like to book a session, please give me a call on 07359 792879 or send me an email.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
