About me
Hello, I’m Ravi and thank you for stopping by.
I bring something deeply personal to my work. I’ve experienced therapy myself. I know what it’s like to sit in the client’s chair—to feel vulnerable, uncertain, anxious and hopeful all at once. That experience has shaped my practice with empathy, authenticity, and a genuine respect for each person’s journey.
I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone at an affordable cost. For that reason, I offer concessions dependent on affordability. My work is rooted in inclusivity and cultural sensitivity. I also support individuals from marginalised communities, including refugees, ethnic minorities, and those navigating disability—whether lifelong, acquired, or evolving. I’m also an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, with experience supporting clients from Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversities (GSRD) communities. As a member of the Black, African, Asian Therapy Network (BAATN), I bring a culturally informed lens to my practice, helping clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
At my Leicester-based practice, I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can speak freely and be met with understanding—not judgment. I use an integrative approach, blending from a range of therapeutic models to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and experiences.
Together, we’ll explore what has happened or is happening in your life, make sense of your thoughts and emotions, and work toward meaningful change that supports your mental and emotional well-being.
If you feel ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you. Let’s start with a friendly, informal chat about how we might work together.
how we meet. We can talk face-to-face, remotely using Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or VSee, or simply by telephone.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
