About me

At Set Free Counselling and Psychotherapy, I offer a warm, person-centered approach to therapy, providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions, challenges, and personal growth. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s difficulties with greater clarity and resilience.

I work with adults facing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, addiction, bereavement, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress, and low self-esteem. Whether you're seeking short-term focused support or open-ended therapy, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs.

I offer both online and face-to-face sessions, with in-person appointments available at The Gestalt Centre. My sessions are confidential, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity for healing and personal growth.

If you're looking for a therapist who will listen without judgment and support you in moving forward, I would be happy to help.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and NCPS Registered Counsellor with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My approach is person-centred, creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life challenges.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals and couples with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, addiction, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress, communication challenges, and infidelity. I offer both short-term focused therapy and open-ended counselling, depending on each person's individual needs and goals.

In addition to my private practice, Set Free Counselling & Psychotherapy, I lead a team of staff workers within a residential rehabilitation service, further enhancing my experience in addiction recovery, mental health support, and crisis intervention.

I offer both online and face-to-face counselling sessions, with in-person appointments available in Camden, Clapham, and at The Gestalt Centre London, providing flexible options to suit your needs.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake further training to ensure my practice remains informed by current research, ethical standards, and best practice within the counselling profession.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
