About me
Life can feel like an overwhelming mix of stress, anxiety, or even darker thoughts. Do you ever feel needy in relationships, or find yourself pulling away just as you start to get close to someone? I can help you understand these patterns. Perhaps you're a survivor of trauma or violence, carrying burdens that feel too heavy to share.
I am a Person-Centred and Attachment-Based Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I am trauma trained and use tools from Transactional Analysis. I specialise in attachment based and relationship issues, anxiety, abuse and trauma. Together, we can process your emotions, leading to greater self-understanding and a deeper awareness of difficult feelings. I can help you find solutions that truly work for you.
We can explore your attachment in your relationships, with partners, parents, or friends, with kindness and curiosity, examining what might be missing and fostering greater understanding and self-awareness.
I have experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and understand the profound impact trauma can have on both the body and mind.
In our work together, you can share any aspect of your life, knowing you will be seen, heard, and validated in a safe and confidential space, where you can feel truly heard and develop the skills to heal and grow. My private, calm therapy room offers a place where you can be yourself, without the need for a façade or a brave face. I will accept you for who you are.
As sometimes, even with the best intentions, loved ones may not have the tools to fully understand what we're experiencing. This is where professional support can make a difference.
I am ADHD/Autistic aware and am inclusive of those in the LGBTQ+ community.
In our first session, you can expect a warm welcome and a comfortable setting with cushions and a fluffy blanket. I'll introduce myself, explain the therapy agreement, and gather some background information. You'll then have the opportunity to share what's happening in your life right now, and I will listen attentively. There's no right or wrong way to share your feelings; you can go at your own pace, and I will clarify anything I don't understand. I know that starting therapy can feel daunting, but sometimes we simply need someone who truly cares and offers support, without the pressure to “just get on with it.”
Seeing a therapist can be life changing.. Take the first brave step and contact me now to discuss your needs and how we can work together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
