Dr Natasha Wallace - Revive Psychological Services Ltd
Welcome to my page - I know it can feel scary, but you have taken the first step towards looking after yourself and your emotional and psychological wellbeing. My name is Natasha, and I am an HCPC registered clinical psychologist working in Gateshead and Newcastle. I have been working in psychology across the lifespan in the NHS and the private sector since 2007 and have a diverse range of experience.
I set up Revive so that I can offer support to children/families and adults who are struggling with their mental health. Whether this be coping with trauma (single episode or more complex trauma) or are generally struggling to cope with how they are feeling with managing their emotions on a day-to-day basis. I also provide support to parents and birthing people who have experienced difficulties throughout their journey to early parenthood - Specifically around birth trauma and post-natal mental health.
Whether these difficulties have come around suddenly or have built up over time, we know that living with these feelings can be overwhelming and impact every aspect of our daily lives - from feeling like we cant cope to impacting our relationships with ourselves and others. Just as with our physical health, we all require some support with our emotional health at times throughout our lives. I like to work together with you to help you unpick why you are struggling and move forward to feel well in day-to-day life, rather than focus on the labels we may be given (e.g. anxiety/depression).
I prefer to work collaboratively with you to make sure that I can offer you the compassionate, personalised support that you may require. To do that, I am integrative in my approach which is tailored to meet your individual needs - I am a true believer that one size does not fit all. I have an interest in working from an attachment framework and incorporate Mindfulness, CBT, ACT and CFT principles into my work. I am also a trained DBT clinician.
If you feel I may be a good fit for you, please get in contact for a free 10 minute consultation. Hopefully, together, we can make a plan that suits you and your needs. I offer online and face to face appointments at our office in Killingworth (Newcastle) and in Blaydon (Gateshead). Please note, my website is currently undergoing a revamp but you can still find my contact information by clicking the website link.
If you need to talk to someone now about your mental health please contact the Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
