About me

Hello, Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Natalie and I am a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I am a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and work with children and young people age 5 to 18.

Are you concerned about the emotional wellbeing of your child? Could you use some help and support for a child or young person?

Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed by life events. Counselling is a way of exploring issues, feelings, relationships and behaviours in order to improve wellbeing, feel listened to, and understood.

I work creatively in the counselling room in a non judgemental and empathic way. My aim is to provide a safe and confidential environment where your child can explore the issues and feelings they want to work through at their own pace and in a way that is tailored to their needs.

I offer short term and long term counselling in person, or via video call for older children and young people.

Please contact me for more information and to find out how I can help you and your family.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over ten years’ experience working closely with many children and young people in therapeutic environments. These children and young people have suffered early childhood trauma, displaying emotional and behavioural disturbance with varying need of complexities.

I have worked therapeutically with children and young people from the age of 5 to 18 years. Supporting with issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, identity issues, attachment disorder, sexualised behaviours, aggression and violence, and breakdown of relationships / family relationships.

I am dedicated to providing a safe environment for children and young people to have a voice, feel heard and understood. Whilst working to build a good positive relationship that is confidential, nurturing & empathic to help your child work through difficulties that may be impacting on how they relate with others in their life and support them to address issues that make life difficult.
