About me
I am an experienced relationship counsellor and have worked with a wide range of issues including: affairs, issues with trust, separation and family matters. I have been working as a counsellor for over 18 years with Relate as well as in private practice. I work with couples and individuals of all sexual orientations, in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
In addition to relationship counselling, I am trained as a young peoples counsellor and have worked with many clients on a variety of problems.
Whilst I am trained to work systemically, I prefer to approach my work on a integrative basis, meeting the clients individual needs. My aim is to provide support and work with you through your journey, whatever that may be.
I am warm, plain speaking and consider myself to be a down to earth person. I understand life can be difficult at times, so I like to take a practical approach to encourage clients to look at a situation from different perspectives.
I understand that finding a counsellor can seem like a difficult and daunting process. Initially, a lot of people are quite nervous as they do not know what to expect, so I like to start with a brief chat over the phone to ease some of their concerns and answer any questions regarding the process and my practice.
I hope this has been helpful and provided some insight in to my practice. Please do feel free to get in touch should you have any further questions.
All the best,
Namita
