About me
I am an UKCP registered Psychotherapist.
My approach to therapy is Integrative-Transpersonal. I often use the Holistic and Spiritual modality with my clients, although I am skilled in using other therapeutic modalities too.
In my practice, I address all the aspects of an individual (mind-body-soul) through a wide range of therapeutic techniques, such as dreams, mindfulness, breath and body work, meditations and visualisations, on top of the explorative talking therapy.
The Integrative approach is a powerful tool in therapy as it offers different ways of working with clients and find out which one work well for them.
As an Integrative therapist, I believe that each person needs to be recognised for the individual that they are, and therefore my sessions are tailored to the specific individual’s needs.
Life's ups and downs might affect our self-worth, beliefs and mental health, bringing us close to feelings of anxiety, loneliness, depression, stress, eating disorders, or addictions. In those difficult moments we need someone to support, understand and walk alongside us in order to restore our wellbeing.
My therapy is firstly a heart-centred, confidential and non-judgemental space where you will feel safe to open your heart and be understood.
Therapy is highly recommended to people who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or are struggling with feelings of shame, guilt, anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, ADHD, addiction or relationship issues.
Therapy is an excellent tool that will help you to explore and understand your difficulties, and develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
In my own journey, I have learnt to value my particular qualities of compassion, kindness, patience, acceptance and forgiveness that have helped me to access my inner resources when things got difficult. Now, I bring these qualities into service of my clients' process when I facilitate their unique journey towards healing and meaning. Or, when they have difficulty valuing themselves and need a kind encouragement to access their beautiful but yet hidden inner resources.
The Holistic-Spiritual approach is a creative tool for people who are looking to understand themselves more clearly, and make appropriate changes to their lives. It helps people to live more fully and effectively, connected to a sense of purpose and direction.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Sessions are 50 minutes long, and typically we will meet on a weekly basis, at the same time and day.
The first session is an assessment where we aim to reach an understanding of what your particular difficulties are. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any question about the therapy and form an understanding of how we will work together in therapy.
We can either agree to work from the beginning on an open-ended basis, or for a fixed number of sessions and then review. In both cases there will be regular reviews of how you feel you are progressing.
