About me

Everyone goes through times that can feel overwhelming and very distressing. You may find yourself stuck in negative and destructive patterns - in those moments, I truly believe that therapy can truly save your life.

Therapy can also be a safe and exciting space for you to gain a better understanding of yourself and explore deeper issues that might have been lingering for a while.

I am a friendly, down-to-earth, professional, experienced and ethical integrative psychotherapist who offers short-term as well as long term therapy.

The integrative approach draws from a wide number of theoretical and clinical ideas ranging from psychodynamic, existential, humanistic and cognitive theories. This practice enables me to be more flexible and really explore what would suit your individual needs.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space to explore what your difficulties are in a way that works for you.

Couples and close relationships therapy

After running successful practices with individuals of all ages and backgrounds for the last decade I have now completed a postgraduate program in Couples and close relationships therapy at the Gestalt Centre in London.

I truly understand how complex and painful relationship problems can be and want to offer a supportive and open space for you to talk to each other and find ways to rebuild connection. Couples and relationships (e.g. siblings, friends, work colleagues, parent and child) may seek therapy for specific reasons like frustrating and persistent arguments, feeling insecure in their relationship, family issues, separation or more general issues such as a lack of engagement and understanding.

Together we will look at your communication style and understand how former patterns and relationship traumas may have an impact on your current relationship. In order to make sure that I work ethically and my work is kept to a high standard, I will be meeting with my clinical advisor on a regular basis.

Am I right for you?

Finding the right therapist can be tricky but we can set-up an initial meeting to explore what brings you to therapy and to see whether I am the therapist for you. You can contact me on my phone or via email to set up an initial appointment.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
