About me

A warm welcome to you! I am a fully-qualified counsellor and EMDR therapist working with couples and individuals in the London Borough of Bromley. My approach is person-centred and solution-focused. I hold a judgement-free space for deep personal growth. Together we will explore different ways of looking at things while also exploring how you got to where you are to begin with. I want to help you uncover your inner strengths, gain new insights, and hone the skills you need in order to live the life you desire. Not all work is about the past; sometimes the focus is on acquiring practical skills in the here and now to face new challenges.

Meeting you where you are, even if you are nervous and unsure, I don’t rely on a “one-size-fits-all” approach to healing, I aim to offer you what is going to work best. I am trained in EMDR and EFT ('tapping'), both of which you may want to dip in an out of throughout our time together.

It’s been a joy to aid my clients in crafting better relationships, careers, and lives and I want to do the same with you.

Through my counselling services, I have helped:

  • Frightened people find their courage and strengthen their ability to master fear, panic and worry.
  • Depressed people find the lightness, hope and energy to live a more joyful life.
  • Angry people learn how to manage their outbursts and heal their roots.
  • Trauma Survivors heal emotionally and leave the burdens of the past behind.
  • Military Personnel and First Responders process their experiences in a safe, supportive space.
  • Self-Transformation Seekers learn how to free themselves from their limiting thoughts and feelings and live the life they want to live.
  • Couples deepen their connection and lead more joyful and fulfilled lives together

BACP

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
