Hi and thank you for reading my profile.
I have worked as a therapist since 2002, and since my initial training I have continued my studies to broaden skills and knowledge, and to keep abreast of changes within the healing field.
I initially trained as an Integrative Counsellor in 2002, then developed my practice to include Gestalt Coaching in 2010. In 2016 I graduated from a Masters degree in Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychotherapy and began working in schools. During my degree I studied energy medicine (The Body Code, Reiki and TFT:Thought Field Therapy), as complementary practices, helping people to not only understand why they feel the way they do, but to also release them from trapped energies no longer serve.
I like to work in a creative way and my aim is to work alongside you to create a space that uniquely serves you. I am keen to provide you with an experience that suits your requirements so you can choose from a number of approaches from traditional talking Psychotherapy, EMDR, Energy Therapy, Shadow Work Therapy and/or Hypnotherapy. The approach will be dependant on the issue/s you wish to address. We will work together to establish a therapeutic journey in our first session.
I am happy to work with you on a short, long-term or flexible basis, depending on the level of difficulties you wish to address.
I am passionate about Supervision and I have had the pleasure of supporting counsellors and Psychotherapist, both qualified and in training since 2004.
Supervision is a reciprocal relationship, based on equality and a mutual understanding, that we are professionals working together to create a safe, gently challenging and informative alliance. I work holistically and draw on various approaches to inform my work including Gestalt, Adlerian and Jungian to name a few. I love to work in a creative way and to share techniques and ideas that can support your work and help you develop personally and professionally.
In addition to working 1:1 I also run group supervision.
I look forward to hearing from you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
