About me

Are you tired of feeling anxious about the future and find yourself constantly wondering about your past? Recovery from trauma and other overwhelming experiences is possible - healing is not myth. Since you are browsing this website I assume you got to the point, when you want to take that first step to a better, more secure future. You can rest assured that with the right support, you can start living your life to the fullest - without the past hang-ups or regrets. Carl Jung said once: “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” Maybe it is time for you to consider your life options and make an informed decision about your future.

I provide professional, confidential and caring counselling to support you around a variety of issues including bereavement, anxiety, low self-esteem and depression. I am specialising in trauma, if you suffered from childhood abuse, domestic violence or sexual assault, then please let me aid you on your road to recovery.

I can offer you free 20-minutes online consultation, so that you can check whether I am the right match for you. If you decide to work with me, I charge between £30 - £45 for 50-minutes session and offer concessions for students and people on low income.

Availability: Currently Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays mornings or afternoons.  Evening appointments can be arranged.

If you call and it doesn't go through please follow with a text / email so I can get back to you ASAP.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Membership: British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy - Registered Member.
  • Diploma of Higher Education in Person-Centred Counselling, Middlesex University.
  • Masters of Arts in English Philology, Warsaw University.

I am a fully qualified, experienced counsellor and a member of the BACP. I have professional indemnity insurance. I am ICO registered. I have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate. I am attending regular supervision. This means I have met the highest standards required for training as a counsellor.

For the past three years I have been working therapeutically with people, who experienced childhood trauma and abuse as well as domestic and sexual violence, which allows me to constantly grow and develop as a practitioner. Since March 2020 I am also co-facilitating a therapeutic group.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
