About me

Good therapy saves you time and resources. In my therapeutic online room I offer a practical approach to counselling, which actually works. It does bring results as I walked the path of recovery from long-term trauma to living my life the way I actually want. I know what it takes and I will teach you that. Now I want you to change your attitude towards counselling and therapy - it is a learning process. I will be your teacher in showing you how to improve your relationship with yourself, navigate your thoughts and internal dialogue, process your emotions in a somatic way aka expand the current capacity of your nervous system - all these, and more, will eventually lead you to the more fulfilling life. But most importantly I will address your energy levels so that you will be able to do the therapeutic work! Because maybe even reading about all this process might feel overwhelming and a little bit intimidating. Now - how can you increase your energy levels? Look at your needs - basic and otherwise and be radically honest - do you meet them everyday or at least a portion of them? Do you even know your needs? If not - this is how you start. That is a bit of a free therapy for you, I told you I am practical and here is the evidence:) Thank me later, when you act upon these and see the results!

Another point is - therapy happens once a week or even less frequently, depending on your needs, outside of this one hour with me you have to be committed to everyday practice of the things we are addressing in your sessions. Without your dedication to this particular learning process you will be simply losing your money. How does that practice may look like? Let's follow on the needs example. You have to write down your needs and make sure you will fulfill at least a portion of them during the day. Observe what emotions are rising in you - do you feel guilty when attending to your needs or maybe relieved? Or a mixture. Through this observation only you are already expanding your nervous system to feel more and be more aware of your self and your well-being.  That is not easy! Because I am literally asking you to stop running on autopilot and if autopilot is everything you know, then of course you will find all sort of excuses to postpone or stop all together. But every learning process whether that is therapy or learning how to drive requires everyday practice and some conscious effort. This is the reality! So are you ready to learn something new about yourself and discover how it is to have a good life? I trust that, since you are still reading it, then the answer might be yes:) However, if you just want to vent and complain without taking action then I am not a therapist for you.

I charge £150 for 60-minutes session. Initial session costs £90.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
