About me
Are you feeling disconnected from yourself, others and the world around you? Is that manifesting as troubling symptoms like stress, anxiety, overwork, over or under-eating, eco-anxiety, more time than you'd like scrolling social media or just a general sense of malaise with your life?
My work is centred on reconnection.
Connection is one of our most primal needs and modern society can leave little time and space for us to nurture our connections - not just to others around us, but importantly to ourselves.
In my work, I create a space for that reconnection with ourselves through reflection, exploration, listening to the body, curiosity, imagination, mindfulness and reconnecting with the natural world.
By reconnecting with ourselves, we are then better able to connect with those around us in ways that feel healthy and replenishing.
Increasingly, we're understanding that what we define as the qualities of childhood - the connection with our inner lives, our senses, imagination, dreams and the natural world around us - are powerful contributors to our mental health and wellbeing throughout our lives.
I will work with you to reunite with those parts of you that have become hidden or disconnected through life's challenges and support you in reconnecting with a more centred, connected sense of yourself. We can do this through face-to-face work, drawing on mindfulness techniques and body focusing, using writing, art or play as a means of self-understanding and expression and/or working outside in nature.
Ultimately, I am not prescriptive in how we work but am led by what you feel works for you.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
