About me
Counsellor in Cheshunt | Therapist in Goffs Oak, Broxbourne, Cuffley and Hertfordshire
I am a counsellor and therapist based in Goffs Oak, working with adults across Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Cuffley and Hertfordshire. I provide counselling for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, confidence, grief, ADHD, autistic traits, stress and emotional wellbeing. I also offer online therapy across the UK.
Many people come to counselling because they are exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
They’ve spent months, sometimes years, worrying, overthinking, carrying responsibility and trying to make sense of things on their own.
You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, confidence, relationship issues, grief or a major life change. You might be questioning a relationship, feeling overwhelmed by family pressures, trying to understand ADHD or autistic traits, or simply feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward.
- You replay conversations in your mind.
- You question yourself.
- You worry about what might happen next.
You spend so much time trying to understand everyone else that your own needs get pushed aside.
- On the outside, you may look like you’re coping.
- Inside, it feels very different.
I regularly work with people seeking counselling for:
• Anxiety and excessive worry
• Depression and low mood
• Relationship issues and relationship breakdown
• Confidence and self-belief
• Grief, bereavement and loss
• ADHD and autistic traits
• Stress, burnout and emotional exhaustion
• Family difficulties
• Life transitions and change
• Loneliness and isolation
As a counsellor in Goffs Oak and Cheshunt, I offer a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s happening in your life.
Together we can explore what’s keeping you stuck, understand patterns that keep repeating, improve confidence, work through relationship issues, manage anxiety and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
If you’re looking for counselling or therapy in Cheshunt, a therapist in Broxbourne, counselling in Goffs Oak, therapy in Cuffley or online counselling in Hertfordshire, I’d be happy to arrange an initial conversation.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
