About me

My name is Lesley and I am a qualified HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Art Psychotherapist. I offer individual therapy sessions for children and young adults, both short and long term, in a safe, confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic space.

I am a warm and thoughtful qualified Art psychotherapist with the aim to help you to express and explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences which can then begin to be processed.

Working holistically, we will use both talking and creative therapeutic approaches including story, art making, drama and movement. There are no expectations for you to be experienced in any of these disciplines but they can be another avenue by which to express your feelings when words are too difficult.

You will be supported to explore and express any uncomfortable or confusing feelings and experiences that may be holding you back in life, with the opportunity to feel truly heard and accepted whatever your personal circumstances. Being creative within therapy can help us to express, process and integrate complex feelings and experiences that may have previously felt somewhat “beyond words”.

I offer a tailored approach to suit each client’s needs which is agreed and reviewed throughout the therapeutic process.

Please feel free to email me to arrange a free initial 15 minutes consultation. Sessions are available either face-to-face in Radlett, Hertfordshire or via Zoom online.
