I specialise in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, sadness, relationship difficulties, life changes, low self-esteem, anger or are stuck in patterns of people pleasing, avoidance, procrastination, frustration, & co-dependency.
It is important to take the time to find a counsellor who is the right fit for you. Asking for help is an important step & seeking professional support is not self-indulgent or a sign of weakness. Counselling can help you when you are struggling & need your life to be different.
If you would like to arrange an initial session, please contact me via email. When you contact me, we will agree a good time to speak via telephone or online. In this first session you can talk me through what has brought you to counselling & the type of support that you are looking for. I’ll explain how I work & how we would work together. I will ensure that we have time for me to answer any questions that you have.
If, following this first session, you decide to work with me, we can discuss what counselling arrangement would work best for you. Please note that if we work together there is no expectation that you commit to a minimum or maximum number of sessions. You are free to finish counselling whenever feels right for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Counselling sessions cost £50 & last for a full hour. Payments are made by bank transfer monthly or weekly.
I offer one to one counselling for adults (18+)
Student counsellors studying for a counselling qualification are eligible for a discounted rate – please contact me for details.
I am able to offer daytime & evening sessions Mon-Fri & some Saturday morning sessions.
Many clients choose to meet with me in a regular slot every week as they feel that they benefit from the structure and reassurance that this brings. However, I also believe that it is important to offer flexibility regarding when, and how often, I meet my clients. You may not be able to commit to meeting on the same day at the same time each week. You may be a shift worker or have caring responsibilities. We can talk through how we can manage your counselling support to fit with your work or other life commitments.
Whatever your circumstances, please feel free to ask about the flexibility I provide. I am committed to removing barriers that might make it difficult for you to get the support that you need. Please also note that there is no expectation that you commit to a minimum or maximum number of sessions. You are free to finish counselling whenever feels right for you.
