About me

Hey, Thank you for checking my profile.

I am a professional therapeutic counsellor qualified in integrated therapy, which means I draw on multiple therapy models. I understand how challenging and complex life can be at times and I work to accompany my clients to navigate these challenges and explore their thoughts and feelings by providing a safe space to talk. We work together to identify patterns, connect the dots, and understand your experiences, to discover new insights and empower you to make helpful changes.

I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in accordance with the BACP's Ethical Framework, fully insured and DBS checked.

The Counselling Relationship

I offer counselling to both individuals and couples by establishing a tailored approach that works for you. If you wish to work with me I can provide an empathetic and non-judgemental foundation for us to cultivate a  genuine working relationship within.

The Counselling Service

In a view to make accessing this counselling service as stress free as possible, I have chosen to work exclusively online . In a cost of living crises, this enables counselling to be accessed remotely from a safe confidential space of your choosing, free of any additional costs like travel/babysitters/ parking etc.

How to get in touch

Drop me an email with any questions or inquiries you may have. I will get back to you to arrange a free phone call to answer any questions and have a chat to help you decide if you would like to work together. I offer weekly 50 minute sessions for individuals and 75 minute sessions for couples.

My philosophy

I believe we all need some help and support sometimes. Being truly listened to and feeling heard with compassion is incredibly powerful in helping us grow in our understanding of ourselves. Our past, present and future all plays a role in who we are and how we operate in life. Exploring these parts can provide opportunities to achieve our goals.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
