About me

Hi, I'm Kirsten and I have a passion for empowering individuals to navigate life's inevitable challenges. Whatever you're struggling with, therapy can be a powerful tool for growth and self-discovery. As a warm and compassionate therapist, I offer you a safe and respectful space to talk and explore your concerns freely and authentically.

Taking the first step towards positive change can be daunting and courageous, but you don't have to go through it alone.

Our work together will help you to gain understanding of everything you think and feel and gain awareness of the hows and whys of your patterns and their effect on your behaviour.

What's important to ME is getting to know the reason YOU are seeking help. I'm devoted to getting to know you; as a unique individual with a unique story to tell. Through a variety of evidence-based practices and a touch of humour (when appropriate!), we'll collaborate on addressing your needs and working towards personal growth.

Curious if we'd be a good fit? Schedule a free consultation to discuss your unique needs and explore how therapy can benefit you. During this initial session, we'll talk about your goals and ensure my approaches, experience and personality align with your needs.

Want to know more? I have extensive experience helping clients navigate a variety of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety & Stress
  • Depression & Low Mood
  • Relationship Issues
  • Self-Esteem & Confidence
  • Childhood issues affecting adult life
  • Life Transitions (e.g., career change, divorce)
  • Bereavement

Working Pluralistically means that I am trained in a range of modalities and techniques, and I can draw upon these within sessions. I can be directive or non-directive; believing my Clients should always be free to express their preferences.

I have a wealth of experience helping people live better lives and I promise to give you my very best work to help you on your journey.

Committing to, and undertaking this process, will increase your self-awareness, and in-turn, help develop self-acceptance and self-compassion so that you can finally have control over issues such as emotional pain, depression, fear and anxiety, stress, unhelpful habits or behaviour.

Whether we work together short, medium or long-term, I can help you to bring about profound change and free you for a calmer, happier and more peaceful future.

So are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery? Let's create a path forward together.

N.B. Sessions can be either in-person in Bristol BS7 or Online (Nationwide).
