Psychotherapy/Counselling (MCPS Acc.), and Hypnotherapy

About me

Hello and Welcome

I’m Kirsten, a qualified (MNCPS Acc.) and experienced Pluralistic Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist, and Mental Health & Wellbeing blogger.

Beyond my professional qualifications, I am a wife and a mum to three adult children. My life outside the therapy room is grounded in the same values I bring into it: a deep-seated passion for fairness and the unwavering belief that every person deserves respect, dignity, and care, regardless of their background or identity.

Why I Do What I Do

My path to becoming a therapist wasn't just academic; it was deeply personal. Having navigated my own significant life difficulties and experienced the profound impact of a life-changing therapy journey myself, I know firsthand the courage it takes to reach out. I understand the weight of the struggle, but more importantly, I know the light that exists on the other side. This personal history fuels my commitment to helping others find their own path to healing.

My Approach

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process and that healing is achievable with the right support. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in respect. You can truly come as you are.

I provide a safe, friendly space to talk openly about what’s on your mind—at your pace, with your comfort at the forefront. Together, we can work through your challenges in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy; we can explore your concerns together in a relaxed environment. Through a variety of evidence-based practices—and a touch of humour when appropriate!—we’ll collaborate on meeting your needs and goals.

You’re Not Alone: Let’s Find Your Path to Well-being

Many people experience challenges that impact their daily lives, but I am here to help you navigate them. I am passionate about empowering individuals; I believe everyone deserves a life filled with happiness and fulfilment.

My approach is centred on understanding you as a unique individual. Whether you’re facing a crisis, in emotional pain, seeking self-discovery, or aiming to achieve specific goals, therapy can make a significant difference. Together, we can explore underlying causes and develop strategies to overcome them. By offering Counselling, Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, or a combination of these, I provide a personalised approach tailored specifically to you.

My commitment to you:

A safe and non-judgemental space to share your experiences.
A collaborative partnership to create a tailored treatment plan.
Support and guidance as you embark on your journey to well-being.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don't have to go it alone. I’m here to listen, understand your unique journey, and guide you towards your goals.

Ready to start?

Let’s work together to address anxiety, depression, stress, emotional pain, or any other challenges you’re facing. By gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, you can develop self-compassion, build resilience, and create a life filled with joy and peace.

I offer both in-person sessions in Bristol (BS7) and online sessions for clients nationwide.

Whether you’re looking for short, medium, or long-term support, I’m here to help you create lasting positive change.

I work with individuals over the age of 18, including those who are heteronormative or LGBTQ+, and neurotypical or neurodivergent.

Piqued your interest and curious to see if we're a good fit?

Book your free 20-minute consultation, or full (£35 introductory offer rate) one-off 50-minute session today. There's absolutely no pressure to continue, but I'm here to support you every step of the way, should you choose.
