About me
Are you baffled by your relationship with a narcissistic individual?
Are you exhausted by the mind games, gas-lighting and deceit?
Have you friends grown bored of hearing you talk about the same issues?
If so, fret not, you're not alone.
There’s no two ways about it, narcissists are very difficult personalities. They’re sly, conniving and incredibly devious. Until you’ve been subjected to their abuse, you just won’t get it. This sad fact often results in their victims being increasingly isolated. Isolation exacerbates the narcissists control and creates a futile ground for further abuse. When dealing with narcissists, it’s important to find your tribe, being alone is a fundamental part of the problem. So, if like me, you’ve found yourself caught up in their web of confusion, lies and brutality, trust me, you’re not alone. Nor are you stupid, naïve, too sensitive, or too emotional - you’re just dealing with a very tricky personality type. You need to learn, understand and heal from the tricky situation you’ve found yourself in.
Narcissists have a profound way of getting into your head and under your skin. Where they’ll discombobulate you, reduce you to tears and leave you filled with doubt. Overthinking and second guessing are a natural part of the process and its totally understandable why you’ve got caught. Mind games are standard practice and unsuspecting victims often get caught in their web. You see, a narcissist trades on your self-doubt and over time can leave you questioning your sanity. Their main ambition is to be your puppet master – they want full control and need you to be a faithful worshiper. Going toe to toe with a narcissist is not advisable, their nasty, highly manipulative, think on their feet and can quickly gaslight (to manipulate someone by psychological means into doubting their own sanity) and attack in a heartbeat. Beware, they do high conflict situations particularly well and if I’m right, you’re probably they type of person who avoids conflict at all costs. This toxic mix creates a perfect storm.
Empathy is not a quality they naturally possess. They can mimic empathy (should a situation require it), but funnily enough, they prey on highly sensitive, empathic people to get their needs met. They’ll abuse your compassion, crush your self-esteem, and leave you a quivering wreck - it’s hard to believe how much they just don’t care. If you’ve ever felt like caring is a curse, then you’re in the right place. I get it and have been in your shoes too. Getting a narcissist out of your head takes learning, understanding and practice. Sign up for a call to talk about your situation - it’s time to reclaim your power.
About me
I am more than a ‘book smart’ psychotherapist and have transitioned from victim to victor. In love with a narcissistic man in my early 20s, I fully understand the roller coaster that comes from loving these tricky people.
From unskilled cashier in an abusive relationship to straight-talking, no nonsense psychotherapist. Self help books saved my life and inspired me to try education once again. Today, I have a thriving private practice and specialise in supporting highly empathic people protect their giving nature

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
