About me
Hi and welcome! Let me introduce myself. I’m Karolina and I'm a qualified counsellor specialising in high-functioning anxiety. I mostly work with perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking , people pleasing, imposter syndrome, low self-esteem, and those who struggle to implement healthy boundaries.
Are you finding yourself feeling lost, overwhelmed, or in a constant state of fear and panic? I understand how it feels to be at a constant war with yourself, battling your inner critic and never feeling good enough.
Anxiety can feel debilitating, frustrating, and unfortunately so often misunderstood. You can feel so alone in your suffering because on the outside you seem to have it all together. Anxiety can negatively impact your relationship, your work, your studies and day-to-day life. If you feel like this is you, I invite you to reach out and schedule the session. You don't have to face these difficulties alone. I am here to help you navigate your personal challenges and work towards a happier and healthier life.
I use person-centred approach with elements of CBT. I firmly believe that each person is unique and capable of their own self-discovery. I understand that each client's journey is unique, and I customise my approach to your specific needs and goals.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
My other passion is triathlon and I absolutely love cycling. Therefore, if you are an athlete who struggles with their mental health please reach out. I have a good understanding of how demanding sport and training can be and this might have a negative impact on your mental health. Many athletes use exercise as their only coping mechanise and once they get injured they are left with nothing. If this sounds like you I can help you develop alternative coping strategies that will help you deal with life challenges in a healthy way.
