About me

I am an experienced counsellor and specialise in all issues relating to addiction and coercive behaviour.

I offer a confidential, friendly and empathetic approach.

I have a wealth of lived experience and know personally how depression and anxiety can prevent you from becoming the person who you want to and deserve to be.  If you are feeling stuck or generally lost and need help with working things out, then please get in touch.

You can also contact me if you need someone professional to talk about issues such as low esteem, family issues, ADHD, feeling sad, generalised anxiety disorder, low self-confidence, panic attacks, phobias, trauma, relationship issues, divorce or separation, affairs or betrayals, post-natal depression, bereavement, worries or problems.

Someone who won’t judge you and will accept you for who you are.

Someone who won’t give you their opinion or advice about what you should and shouldn’t do.

Someone ethical and qualified who you can speak to in a confidential, quiet and non-intrusive environment.

You have found the right person!

The counselling I offer is based on the person-centred approach and includes integrative elements drawing on many useful resources.  With this training experience I am able to offer clients a first-class service suited to their individual needs.

You can send me an email and I will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange a no obligation session at £40.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
