About me

Qualified Clinical supervisor.  FACE to FACE, WHATSAPP, ZOOM, SKYPE and TELEPHONE appts available. I specialise in counselling young people and have been sucessful working with relationship problems, family breakdowns, self harm, depression, low mood, anxiety, loss and grief, bullying, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders. My experience also includes supporting young people with additional needs e.g. mild/moderate learning difficulties, autism, cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.  My private clinical practice is based in Oakham and I also offer online counselling sessions as an alternative. Therapies are tailored to meet the needs of the individual allowing the young person to feel heard and valued, this supports them in making their own choices.
I have been involved in counselling and psychotherapy with young people for over 10 years, working in secondary schools, secure units, colleges and private practice.  I have additional training in self harm, anxiety prevention, neuroscience and creative therapies.
