About me

I can work with you to untangle the threads of your life in a way that makes sense to you, giving you a better understanding of yourself, your relationships and your decisions, and arming you with the insight you need to put you in control of your future.
I also work with couples who want to work out what’s going on between them, and to build a better, stronger relationship. You don’t need to wait until the relationship is in crisis to benefit from couples counselling - raising and discussing the issues when they arise can make them simpler to resolve and understand, and prevent them becoming bigger than they need to be.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative counsellor, so I draw on a range of approaches (eg CBT, psychodynamic, person centred, transactional analysis) to ensure that our work together is tailored to you and your circumstances, whether that's as an individual or as part of relationship counselling. I also have experience working with those with a clinical diagnosis, and who want to look at different ways of managing their mental health.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations.
In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Individual counselling: £50 per 50 minute session
Couples counselling: £65 per 60 minute session
I may be able to offer concessionary sessions, for example those on lower incomes, or trainee counsellors. If this applies to you, please get in touch so we can discuss options and availability.

I have appointments available throughout the week, both daytimes and evenings.
