About me
If you've always been a worrier or you're facing difficult times, I can help. We will equip you with a practical strategy for keeping stress in check, right away.
Some issues feel more awkward or embarrassing than others, I know. If you're struggling with sexual difficulties or porn addiction, I offer specialist expertise.
I also work with intrusive thoughts, OCD, retroactive jealousy and depression.
Sometimes, these things result from painful life events or trauma. If you've experienced abuse, bullying or loss, I can help you to put this properly in the past and move forwards.
Do I only work with men?
I see male and female clients, but I have expert understanding of how stress affects men. This includes the anger and addictions that keep us feeling stuck.
If you are experiencing relationship difficulties or work-related stress, I can help with assertiveness and positive communications.
Anxiety can also underlie sexual challenges and performance-related fears. I offer self-help and therapy solutions for premature ejaculation, the most common sexual difficulty for men.
How long will it take to feel better?
Sometimes, only a couple of sessions are required. Or we might have further sessions to address worries and challenges one at a time and support you in your goals.
Either way, you won't be asked to commit to a block of appointments. At the end of each session we will assess next steps.
My aim is for you to be back out there ASAP, getting on with your life.

I use the Human Givens approach to therapy. Free from psychobabble, this is a modern method that's proven to help people function well.

Member organisations
The Human Givens Institute (HGI) is both a membership organisation and a professional body representing the interests of those in the caring and teaching professions who have an interest in or utilise the human givens approach. Counselling Directory register Registered Members (MHGI) and Fellow Members (FHGI), who will have completed the Post Graduate Practitioner's Assessment (Part III) and who are fully qualified to practise as a human givens therapist or counsellor. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

A session with me is £80. Sessions are 1 hour long, although a first session might run a little longer so please allow 90 minutes.
If you're travelling some distance to see me or would prefer a longer session, I can also offer 2 hour sessions for £150.
You can pay by card or bank transfer prior to your session. Your session can be rescheduled or cancelled with a full refund if you can please provide 48 hours notice.
