About me
My name is Janette and I offer counselling therapy for adults over 18yrs.
When life is difficult it can be difficult to reach out for support. This can lead to feelings of isolation, feeling overwhelmed as well as feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress. You may be carrying worries from the past or have worries about the future which are affecting you today. I offer a safe, confidential place to explore what brings you to counselling within an empathetic ,non-judgmental, professional relationship where you can be heard and be your true self.
I use a pluralistic modality with a trauma informed approach. This is a collaborative approach where we work together to help you to reach your therapy goals.

I work as a counsellor for a non-profit organisation specialising in domestic and sexual abuse and a low-cost counselling charity in Southampton as well as having a Private Practice.

Additional information
An initial consultation will be 30 mins by telephone and will be free of charge. Face to face, telephone and online sessions will be £40 per session. Sessions will be 50 minutes. Key workers are offered a 15% discount on sessions as part of the key worker counselling scheme as supported by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

A free 20 minute initial phone consultation is offered.
After working in health care for many years, Janette offers key worker counselling at a discounted rate.
