About me

Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy in Essex and Online

Sexual and relationship difficulties can affect confidence, closeness and how you feel about yourself. I offer specialist psychosexual and relationship therapy for individuals, couples and people in diverse relationship styles.

You may be experiencing low or mismatched desire, painful sex or vaginismus, erectile or ejaculation difficulties, difficulty reaching orgasm, sexual anxiety, problematic pornography or sexual behaviour, or a loss of intimacy and connection.

You may also be struggling with recurring relationship conflict, betrayal or an affair, communication difficulties, or uncertainty about how to reconnect emotionally and sexually.

My approach is warm, down-to-earth and practical. You do not need to know exactly what is wrong or have the perfect words before coming to therapy. We can work together to understand what is happening and decide what may help.

Training, qualifications & experience

Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy (Level 7, COSRT accredited)
NCPS accredited Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory (Dip CST)
Certificate in Counselling Skills and Practice (COSRT and NCIP accredited)
StopSO Certificate: Managing Sexual Risk
COSRT-certified Online Therapy training

My experience includes working as a Psychosexual Therapist with Relate, providing therapy to NHS, Royal Air Force and University of Cambridge clients.

I am the Clinical Skills Tutor at the Institute of Psychosexual Psychotherapy and Mentoring Co-Ordinator at Pink Therapy.

I also have a background in broadcast journalism and teaching, which supports my focus on clear, supportive communication in therapy. I have lived experience of gender, sex and relationship diversity and work affirmatively with LGBTQ+, kink and non-monogamous communities.
