About me
Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in Essex, London and online
If you’re finding that sex, intimacy or your relationship has become difficult, you’re not alone. I work with couples and individuals who are struggling with communication, desire, sexual problems or the impact of affairs and betrayal.
You may be looking for couples counselling, sex therapy or psychosexual therapy because something no longer feels right. This might include loss of desire, painful sex, erection or ejaculation difficulties, problematic sexual behaviour, issues with pornography, anxiety about sex, or a growing distance in your relationship. Some people come after a crisis such as infidelity, while others simply feel stuck and want things to change.
My approach is warm and practical. I aim to make conversations about sex and intimacy feel safe and manageable. Therapy gives you space to talk honestly, understand what has been happening, and develop new ways forward.
I am trained in both relationship therapy and psychosexual therapy, so we can explore the emotional, relational and physical aspects of sexual and relationship difficulties.
Rather than a “one-size-fits-all” model, I use an integrative pluralistic approach, drawing from a range of methods such as: relationship therapy, psychosexual therapy, CBT, Human Givens, Imago, person-centred and relational approaches.
Together we will:
Clarify what feels most difficult right now
Understand the patterns keeping things stuck
Support you to talk more openly
Use practical exercises and strategies where helpful
Help you rebuild confidence, closeness and sexual connection
You can attend individually or as a couple (including non-monogamous or queer relationships).
I offer psychosexual therapy and relationship counselling in Essex, London and online via Zoom.
