About me

Feeling over-whelmed, stressed, anxious, experiencing panic attacks or just feeling down? or maybe trying to make a big decision? At these times, it can really help to talk things through with someone not directly involved. Although it may feel daunting and takes courage to reach out for help in challenging times, it can be invaluable, in helping us to explore different ways of looking at the problem and gain new perspectives, which can lead to positive change.

I am a Humanistic Counsellor and Fusion Therapeutic Life coach based in West Sussex with several years of experience of working within NHS and University settings and in private practice.

I offer a gentle, non-judgmental, supportive, and holistic form of counselling and coaching therapy. We are each on a personal journey and we sometimes face challenges and difficulties as we live our lives. We have the resources to resolve our problems, after all we are our own best expert on our lives, even if at time of high emotion and challenges, we cannot ‘see the wood for the trees’.

I see the counselling/coaching role as walking alongside you, until you feel able to continue your personal journey alone, taking tools and skills with you to support you in the future. I weave mindfulness/CBT, Human Givens and NLP techniques into my practice and add a touch of neuroscience. This allows me to work flexibly and tailor the counselling/coaching to suit your needs.

Fusion Life coaching is a recipe for well-being which helps people identify which emotional needs are not being met by their current lifestyle. The aim of the model is to demystify the essentials of good mind management and provide a toolbox of easily understandable skills to help us respond mindfully to life events, helping us to make good choices and move towards a preferred future.

I adhere to the Ethical Frameworks of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) and National Counselling Society (NCS) for the Counselling Professions. I attend regular Supervision to support my work. Fully insured, and DBS checked.

We cannot currently offer face to face therapy at the moment, so I am working via telephone or on-line counselling using Zoom. This has benefits, because it means that you can work with me from the comfort of your own home. This also has the benefit of allowing me to be more flexible in arranging appointments.

I offer short and long-term therapy for individuals aged 18 and over on a range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, health issues, bereavement, and low self-esteem.
